Quality TMA Samples Accelerate Your Research Objectives

US Biolab's in-house pathologists work closely with our clients to help curate
and inform sample selection to achieve the desired results.

Applications for tissue microarrays are varied and include the following:

Immunohistology

Antibody validation

Drug development

Gene expression analysis

Biomarker analysis

Request samples according to your specific research needs and preferences. Neoplastic, normal, and diseased tissue samples are available.

Selection

Select from an inventory of prebuilt TMAs or speak to us about a custom design to meet your precise experimental requirements.

Sourcing

Prospective tissue samples are sourced from our integrated global network of laboratories, hospitals, and research facilities under the most stringent quality control/quality assurance standards. Alternately, we can construct a custom-designed TMA from researcher-provided samples.

Assembly

Upon selection, tissue cores are carefully excised and manually assembled into blocks according to an agreed-upon design with orientation markers for clarity and efficiency.

Custom Tissue Array

We invite you to work directly with our in-house pathology team to compile your TMA cohort. TMAs are constructed on demand from donor samples individually selected and screened by our board-certified pathologists.

Benefits of custom microarrays include:

Samples tailored to your study, including specific diseases, disease stages, or therapeutic areas.

Frequently
Asked Questions

Common questions about our fresh frozen and OCT tissue specimens

What temperature are specimens stored at?

All fresh frozen specimens are maintained at -80°C or below in monitored, alarmed freezers with backup power systems. OCT blocks are stored at -20°C to -80°C depending on anticipated usage timeline. We maintain comprehensive temperature logs and provide chain-of-custody documentation with every shipment.

How quickly is tissue frozen after collection?

All fresh frozen specimens are maintained at -80°C or below in monitored, alarmed freezers with backup power systems. OCT blocks are stored at -20°C to -80°C depending on anticipated usage timeline. We maintain comprehensive temperature logs and provide chain-of-custody documentation with every shipment.

Can I get both frozen tissue and FFPE from the same case?

All fresh frozen specimens are maintained at -80°C or below in monitored, alarmed freezers with backup power systems. OCT blocks are stored at -20°C to -80°C depending on anticipated usage timeline. We maintain comprehensive temperature logs and provide chain-of-custody documentation with every shipment.
